Peacebuilders from the Training for Peace (Cohort 12) planted the trees

On October 13, 2017, peacebuilders from the Training for Peace (Cohort 12) planted 50 trees along the Tomnop Taney in Khlachul village, Tul Salaa district, Basedth district, Kampong Speu province. The ceremony was presided over by the Deputy Governor, members of the Commune Council, village chiefs from Khlachul and Veal villages, Mr. Long Doeun from Ponleu Ney Kdey Sangkhum Organization (PNKS), Mr. Nop Sokha from Peace Bridges Organization, Peace Bridges trainers, as well as 60 other participants.
In his commentary on planting trees, the Deputy Governor extended his thanks to Peace Bridges and Ponleu Ney Kdey Sangkhum Organizations, who collaborated to organize the tree planting for the benefit of the community. He also asked local authorities to help preserve the planted trees for the future.
