Peace Bridges is currently conducting research on “Interfaith harmony and the environment” or interfaith collaboration on environmental issues. We are surveying Prey Lang Community Network Coordinating Committees of secular people and three faith groups: Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam. These are partner organizations and active members of the Prey Lang Community Network in Kampong Thom Province, Preah Vihear, Stung Treng and Kratie.
The research aims to: Understand the religious perspectives of different religions and faiths in the preservation of natural resources; and 2) Explore the possibilities for collaboration between people of different beliefs in the preservation of natural resources.
